Thanks for visiting my e-portfolio. Here you will find an overview of my intern experience with the George
Washington University at James Madison High School in Vienna, VA.
I'm 24 years old and have been pursuing my teaching degree for the past year now. My descion to become a teacher
primarily stems from my positive experiences as a coach. One of the most rewarding experiences I've had with this internship
was when a student walked up to me after her AP US History class and thanked me. She told me that not only do I make
history fun, but I make it important. This meant a great deal to me because as a social studies teacher it is my goal
to make the content both fun and relevant to students.
